From October 11 to 13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a workshop in Bishkek for the personnel of border agencies and training institutions responsible for the development of methodology/teaching tools in such areas as e-learning, distance learning etc.

From October 6-7, the latest round of National Steering Group meetings was held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. From 27 to 30 September 2022, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia held training for representatives of local authorities coming from the several Tajik border regions working with the border areas population directly, as well as representatives of governmental authorities based in Dushanbe that implement regional policies in the areas of migration, economic development and gender.
From 27 to 29 September 2022, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia held a regional workshop in Riga, Latvia on the recognition of anomalies in X-ray images for freight transport on land borders for custom officials of Central Asian countries.
