This component is coordinated by the State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Lithuania and will closely cooperate with Component 1 to facilitate the cooperation between law enforcement and border guard agencies. The aim is to support law enforcement agencies in the evidence-based investigations, specifically dealing with detection and investigation of cross-border crime.

Based on peer-to-peer activities, the component will complement and provide synergies with CARICC and EU ACT.
