On November 13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over specialised equipment to the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, accounting for a total value of EUR 9,986.
The Committee received a car’s worth of GPS trackers, which will be used for strengthening control procedures in the field of transit of goods and in order to address the colour printing typographic needs of the customs structural units.
These assets were purchased by BOMCA 10 on the basis of an ad hoc request by the national counterparts of the programme, to strengthen the capabilities of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the of Uzbekistan.
