On 14 – 18 October, NGOs and civil society organisations implementing projects to benefit Central Asian border communities gathered in Tashkent and Bishkek for important meetings with the BOMCA 10 team. These projects, funded by the EU under the 2nd Call for Proposals of BOMCA 10, aim to improve the lives of people in these regions.
The discussions focused on reviewing financial management, ensuring compliance with EU funding rules, and reviewing supporting documentation. It was also an excellent opportunity to assess progress, discuss upcoming milestones, and plan corrective actions where needed.
The 12 projects, which began in July-August 2024, will run for 6 to 12 months, bringing impactful change to border areas.
