On October 13, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over specialised equipment to the Dog Training Center of the Border Service of the Committee of National Security of Kazakhstan, accounting for a total value of EUR 4,155.
The Dog Training Center received a training suite of hidden protection, collars and short leashes for dogs, which will be used for training purposes.
These assets were purchased by BOMCA on the basis of an ad hoc request by the national counterparts of the programme, to strengthen the capabilities of the Kazakh Border Service to detect different types of cross-border crimes.
