On July 4, the Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) officially handed over modern technical equipment to the Training Center of the Border Service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, accounting for a total value of 59,105.00 EUR.
The set of equipment allows beneficiaries to fully equip two security training facilities of the regional training centre, located in Kuryk sea port, western Kazakhstan, and will increase the Border Service of Kazakhstan capacities for training processes to properly address current cross – border threats.
The assets for the Border Service Training Centre were provided in the framework of BOMCA 10 Component 1, “Institutional Development of Border Agencies”, aimed at further developing and strengthening the institutional capacities of border management agencies in Central Asian countries.
