The EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over technical equipment to secondary schools located in the border areas of the northern regions of Kyrgyzstan.
Secondary schools named after R. Shukurbekov and S. Duishenbiev in Talas region, secondary schools named after K. Shabolotov and V. Zakharchenko in Chui region, as well as the Northern Interregional Office of the State Agency for Civil Service and Local Self-Government received technical and computer equipment worth 19,919 euro. The equipment provided will contribute to improving the quality of educational process at schools located in the border areas.
This procurement was implemented within the framework of Component 4 “Improvement of Cross-Border Cooperation”, aimed at improving living conditions in border areas through local economic development, with a focus on human rights, gender equality and vulnerable groups.
