On April 12, 2022 the Border Management Programme in Central Asia, in partnership with the Government agencies of Uzbekistan, organised the International Donors’ Coordination Meeting in Tashkent. Donors’ coordination meeting is an essential working platform for discussing the activities completed and challenges faced, to identify potential linkages and maximise the effectiveness of international assistance and efforts made in the country.
During the meeting, representatives of international, donor and governmental organisations and other participants shared their short, mid, and long term development plans. The stakeholders paid particular attention to ensuring synergies and joint efforts as a result concrete thematic synergies further avenues for cooperation were mapped. At the same time, the programme and partners took a note of the needs expressed by the beneficiaries and will analyse how these needs could be incorporated into the ongoing implementation.
