From August 31 to September 01, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a training course on the project management cycle for the representatives of non-governmental organisations working in the border areas of Tajikistan.
This activity enhanced the capacities of civil society organisations supporting populations residing in the border areas of Tajikistan, in drafting high-quality project proposals and preparing applications for funding, effective fundraising and cooperation with the international donor organisations in Tajikistan, as well as supporting the monitoring and evaluation of the project results. Furthermore, participants were briefed on BOMCA’s activities in support of Central Asian NGOs, through the grants scheme funded by the European Union under Component 4 of the Programme.
This activity was organised in the framework of the Programme’s Component 4, “Improvement of Cross-Border Cooperation”, which is aimed at improving living conditions in border areas through local economic development, with a focus on human rights, gender equality and vulnerable groups.
