On 11-13 February, in Astana, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) organised a national workshop on the use of an e-learning platform and the practical development of e-learning modules. The workshop was organised jointly with the Training and Methodological Centre of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan (SRC MF RK).
The activity aimed to support representatives of border agencies and educational institutions in developing specialised e-learning courses, integrating modern digital solutions into the educational process and enhancing the skills of specialists responsible for creating training and methodological materials. The participants familiarised themselves with EU good practices in digital learning, deepened their knowledge of designing and implementing e-learning courses and developed their own training modules on the Moodle platform. The seminar covered strategies for the effective use of distance learning systems, mechanisms for ensuring digital teaching methods and modern approaches to knowledge assessment.
National seminar was organised within the framework of Component 1, “Institutional Development of Border Control Agencies”, which aims to strengthen the capacity of border guard and customs training institutions in implementing modern standards and advanced technologies in e-education.
