From September 19 to 20, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10), held a national workshop in Bishkek for the officers from border and law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan responsible for risk analysis and crime identification.
This programme activity aims to familiarize participants with EU Models of risk analysis units dealing with the development of risk profiles and risk indicators, and to present IT tools used by law enforcement authorities. Also, in the framework of workshop, information exchange system and EU model of cooperation between officers performing inland control and investigators of cross-border crimes were presented.
As a result of the workshop, experts will develop recommendations for strengthening of the analytical activities of law enforcement authorities aimed at the detection and investigation of cross-border crimes.
