On September 2, the EU-funded Border Management Programme in Central Asia (BOMCA 10) handed over a sets of distance learning equipment to the Institute of Advanced Studies of the State Customs Service under the Government of Tajikistan. The total value of the handed over equipment amounted to 11,838.66 EUR.
Training equipment for distance learning have been installed in the training premises.
This technical assistance is aimed to ensure a high quality of site and distance training activities, as well as strengthening the capacities of both educational institutions.
It needs to be noted that such development of equipment need has been identified at the BOMCA organized Annual Regional Consortium of Heads of Border Guarding and Customs training institutions of Central Asian countries meeting last November in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan and now it has resulted in a delivery of equipment.
These assets were purchased in the framework of BOMCA 10 Component 1, “Institutional Development of Border Control Agencies”.
