7 sets of video surveillance stations, including 56 portable video recorders, were purchased by the BOMCA Program for the State Border Service of Kyrgyzstan. Today, on August 20, a ceremony of equipment transfer took place in headquarters of the State Border Service in Bishkek.
Purchased video surveillance systems, consisting of portable video recorders and servers, will be used by border guards directly at the checkpoints. The equipment provided will contribute to more efficient border check, profiling of people crossing the border, creating, storing and analyzing data on possible violators and potentially dangerous persons, as well as preventing corruption from border guards and people crossing the State border.
