Due to the rapid spread of the virus worldwide, BOMCA Programme supports the border management agencies in Kyrgyzstan in undertaking prevention measures against the COVID-19 outbreak. Thus, BOMCA is delivering 250 specialized sets of protective suits and other personal protective equipment for the State Customs Service of Kyrgyzstan.

250 specialized medical sets consisting of protective suits, eyewear and face masks will be used by customs officers performing their duties directly on the border playing a frontline role in COVID-19 cross-border penetration. Protective measures will allow customs officers to safely perform their duties in controlling goods passing the State Border, to prevent possible contamination and further spreading of the virus.
